The Promotions Team

Jessica Turner, Marketing & Publicity Director
Jessica had no idea how much assuming the moniker “The Spinecracker” would completely change her life. In 2010 while working as the marketing assistant and social media director for a real estate firm in San Diego, she began reviewing books on her personal book blog. Always the chatterbox, she quickly befriended authors, publishers, and fellow reviewers. She had the opportunity to become a freelance writer for and later the Huffington Post. But her dream was to always find a way in to the magical word of publishing. Jessica was hired by Entangled Publishing in July 2012 as a publicist. She has since moved into a Publicity Director role and has resigned from her other job, as she’s found her dream job once and for all. She can be found on Twitter @TheSpinecracker.

Debbie Suzuki, Publicity Director
Debbie is a long time romance book addict and still remembers reading through her aunt’s stash of Johanna Lindsey and Julie Garwood books as a teen. Her love of books lead her to start a book blog in 2008 where she was able to connect with an amazing group of authors, bloggers and publishers. After working in software for over 10 years she decided to pursue her passion for books and and earned her master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences. She went on to work in several local library systems before joining Entangled Publishing in July 2012 as a publicist and living out her dream job of working with amazing authors to bring their books to the masses. Find her on Twitter @debworldofbooks.

Melissa Montovani, Entangled Teen Publicist
Melissa has always been an avid reader, so completing and Honors B.A. in English Language and Literature from University of Windsor and an M.A. in English Literature from Concordia University was natural. She worked as an online copywriter, editor, and marketing manager by day, while taking additional certificates in marketing at night to increase her knowledge base. In 2010, she started the blog YA Book Shelf to promote teen fiction. For the past four years, she’s written reviews for Canadian Children’s Book News, while also working as the marketing director for an organic food company. She lives and works in Toronto, Canada as the Publicist for Entangled Teen since August 2015. Find her on Twitter @YABookShelf.

Riki Cleveland, Publicist for Indulgence and Select Contemporary
Riki has a long-standing love affair with all things books and writing. She indulged her love for all things literary with a degree in English Literature from Arizona State University and holds a certificate in novel writing from the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. Riki began as a book blogger with a passion for romance novels and all things Entangled Publishing (can you say fangirl?), and is thrilled to be a part of the Entangled team where she can spend her days spreading the love for Entangled authors. She loves a swoon-worthy adult romance and has a passion for the HEA!

Becky Conrad-Brown, Publicist for Scandalous and Select Historical
Becky’s love affair with books can be best described when her mother grounded her from reading for a week. And it worked. Becky is completing her graduate degree in communications with an emphasis on mass communications. When she’s not working or doing homework she’s either attempting to renovate her 98-year old house or she’s curled up on her couch reading a historical romance. She lives near Kansas City with her firefighter husband and four pets, two of which are named for Star Wars characters. Find her on Twitter @Biblio_Becky.
