Peek Inside Taming the Country Star

He'll do anything to win her heart. She'll do anything to keep him away.

Country star Cole Grayson is in town, and Kylie Andrews is less than thrilled. As if months of changing the radio station and tearing down his posters weren't bad enough, now she has to deal with a town of fans swarming toward the man who deceived her the year before. But when Kylie's eyes meet Cole's again, she can't deny the electric chemistry that drew her to him the first time around.

Cole Grayson is on a mission. Ever since Kylie left him, he hasn't been able to forget her sweet country smile. After writing a song just for her, he sets off for her hometown to prove he's not the player she thinks he is. But as much as Cole can't forget her, Kylie wonders if she can forgive him.

If I had one complaint about Taming the Country Star: A Hometown Heroes Novella by Margo Bond Collins, it would be that it is just too short. After I read Legally Undead by Ms. Collins, I pretty much knew that I would love anything she writes. And she proved me right with this little book. I jus... ...more

What a super story! Just as their romance was getting started, events tore them apart. She wants a quiet hometown life, he's a country singing star. Incredibly written with characters that come to life. Very well done! I highly recommend this one. ...more

4.5 star review

I really should know better by now. Novellas are short and you can read them quickly. The problem for me is when the author does such a good job grabbing you, making you eager to know what happens next, that I often am not ready for the story to be over when it is. Well, Collins do... ...more

Taming the Country Star is a great addition to the Bliss family. Short, seductive and sweet it has mild but sexy intimate moments being part of their Red Hot line which I love. And with a couple who have a bit of history, the story has some depth which novellas sometimes lack.

This was a very sweet book with a good plot and charismatic characters. Even though this was just a novella, I really liked the overall story and characters. I was pulled in immediately and really was hoping that it would be longer, but in the end, it was just right. It did not feel rushed at all... ...more

I gobbled up this little gem. Cute, sweet and witty with the right amount of sexy for a "Red Hot." Kylie is quirky and strong, while Cole is a delicious babe who could...ya know...drag me to a cattle drive, anytime. ...more

I enjoyed this one from the very first page. When Kylie tries to rip down Cole's poster and it turns into an awkwardly difficult moment? Yeah, she had me from that scene. I could sooo relate.

Both Kylie and Cole's characters were fun. I enjoyed Ms. Collins's light and breezy writing style--I've al... ...more

This is yet another wonderful little novella from the Entangled Bliss line. It’s sweet and endearing; with loads of main character chemistry that jumps right off the page. 4.5 stars for this short, but satisfying, very romantic story. Cole is a country super star taking his show to San Antonio where he knows the woman, Kylie, he fell in love with last year lives. About the author

Margo Bond Collins

Although she's been spinning stories her entire life, the first tale Margo Bond Collins specifically remembers writing down was Wizard of Oz fan-fiction when she was seven--and it included a romance between Dorothy and the Wizard. That one was never published (for which she is eternally thankful), but Margo has been writing ever since. Along the way, she picked up a Ph.D. in eighteenth-century British literature--mostly because graduate school allowed her to keep reading and writing for a living. Her study of the period's amatory fiction (arguably the earliest form of category romance) influences her own romantic fiction. She currently teaches college English courses online, but writing fiction is her first love. After a decade of moving all around the country (Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta are a few of the places she's lived), she has settled in her native Texas. Margo lives near Fort Worth with her husband, her daughter, and several very spoiled cats, and she spends most of her free time daydreaming about heroes, monsters, cowboys, and villains, and the strong women who love them. She currently writes for Entangled Bliss.
