This one could possibly be my favorite! I don’t know if it was Jess, Lars or Daisy… or even Jack who brought it all together for me, but this novel was great! Jess is trying to hide from her crazy mother–in-law in the sleepy town of Konigsburg, Texas all the while the Toleffson’s have other plans fo ...more

This was a new author for me and I enjoyed it. You know sometimes it is hit or miss of dealing with small towns and this one was a good one.. Another lovely addition to the Konigsburg, Texas series, this one featuring the accountant Toleffson brother, Lars, and mysterious single mother, Jess. Of the three Meg Benjamin books I've read so far, this one was the most serious, but even with the romantic suspense angle, there was still plenty o ...more

It’s so much fun to come back to this town and the characters it’s almost like coming home. This story does not disappoint and in fact, I could not put this book down. Jess and her baby son, Jack, arrive in Konisburg to hide away from her dead husband’s family. When she begins watching Lars Toleffso ...more

LOVED this book! The is a wonderful romance that drew me right in and kept me hooked until the very last page. Jess is a single mother with the in-laws from hell. Her MIL is so bad that Jess took her baby and escaped in the middle of the night to get away from her. She thought she'd been doing well ...more

This book was very good. Jess was starting out in a new town and caught the attention of Lars when she answered an ad for babysitting. Lars had a precosious 2 year old that he desperately needed help with. I loved Daisy. She said what she thought no matter what. She was also a little drama queen. Wh ...more

A great read - I liked how it was told from both of their points of view and also the chance to catch up with the characters from the previous books. A twist I wasn't expecting too!

First, just to be honest, the beginning was slow. I immediately liked the h and she was a super mother. Once the other characters started to be introduced, at first, things r-e-a-l-l-y slowed down. Almost gave up at this point! There is being in a pattern and there is being in a rut! Then everything ...more

Really like this little series with the small town and characters that are seen in each book. I know the area where this 'town' is located, so that helped me enjoy the books more since I could relate to locations mentioned. I will read them more than once. I am hoping she writes more of them.

What a fun read.
I loved the Jess, Lars and his brothers, the sisters-in-law, and of course the kiddos.
The story line had a nice flow - not too fast, not too slow. Good mystery and a great bad "guy" that you will just love to despise. ...more

This is the 3rd book of the series and the sweetest I think of them all so far. Jess and Lars are put through so much and in the process find hope and love. Jack and Daisy their 2 kids are so sweet and "real" not the fake ones most authors write. Anxious to read book 4 about the 4th brother Erik. ...more

About the author

Meg Benjamin

Meg Benjamin spent twenty-plus years teaching writing and Web design in South Texas before pulling up roots and starting all over again on the Colorado Front Range. Her comic romances are set in the Texas Hill Country and the Colorado Rockies, which has given her the chance to sample some great wine and some wonderful food (research—it’s all research!). Her new Brewing Love series for Entangled has also given her the chance to get some experience with the wonders of Colorado beer (more research, honestly). Although she now lives in the foothills of the Rockies, Meg travels back to Texas regularly to visit her sons and her twin grandchildren. She and her hubs love to travel the back roads of the Rockies and you can find see pics of their adventures on Facebook and Twitter. For more information about Meg’s books, check out her website.
