Bind Me Before You Go by Harper Kincaid is a very light easy and fast read. Though this book happens to deal with a BDSM club and the sexual kink of shibari, I found this book to be very light since this is not your normal do... ...more

I received an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review, and here it is.

Wow! This novel was unexpectedly good. What I expected was just another BDSM novel, and I've read many of them, since the dreadfully written 50 Shades novels made kinkiness more acceptable to the mainstream.

Cassidy,... ...more

Serve is back with its latest offering and while it’s a reasonably quick read, it certainly packs a lot into the story. The author has given us two characters that will worm their way into your heart and have you cheering for them when they get their HEA.

I have loved Brazen’s SERVE series since its introduction last fall with the first of Tessa Bailey’s books and continuing with Katee Robert and Joya Ryan. As the series progressed, each of these authors have brought their unique voice and have given readers books that are incredibly hot, but also... ...more

Moving to New York is Cassidy Peyton’s chance for a fresh start but she certainly was not planning for Serve to be the location for that fresh start. Roped into acting as wingman (or wingwoman) for her friend and roommate, Cassidy catches the eye of David Cavill. David is on a short brea... ...more

Bind Me Before You Go is a sweet romance with a nice amount of kink. It's not a typical BDSM book, the hero David is not really a Dom but he is Shibari rope master. Bind Me Before You Go was an enjoyable read, though it felt really short. Everything here happened fairly quickly and had a touch of "insta-feel" to it, but Cassidy and David were very likable and had amazing chemistry together, which made the suddenness of it all a bit more palatable.

Bind Me Before You Go by Harper Kincaid was a great book. I loved these characters.

David likes to tie his partners up, but not all are too keen. He also has a dark family secret, and once we find out what it is, it’s not as bad as he thinks, but to David, it’s been a heavy burden and one he wasn... ...more

About the author

Harper Kincaid

A woman with the heart of a revolutionary, The mind of a pragmatist, And the inappropriate humor of your tipsy BFF... Born in California and raised in South Florida, I've moved around like a gypsy with a bounty on my head ever since. Along the way, I've worked as a community organizer, a professional matchmaker, an art teacher, a popular blogger, and a crisis counselor (to name a few). All the while, longing to have the guts and follow-through to do what I really wanted: to write and become a published author. That wish has finally come true and I'm so grateful and happy to be able to say that. What else? I love indie, lo-fi, complaint rock played on vinyl, wearing black because it's slimming, the theater, well-informed optimism, happy endings (both kinds), and making those close to me laugh 'til they snort. I'm a self-admitted change junkie, loving new experiences and places, but have now happily settled in the cutest lil' town, Vienna, Virginia.
