MG Carmody never figured her musical dreams would crash against the reality of Nashville. Now the only thing she has going for her is her late-grandfather’s chicken farm, which comes with a slew of problems and a huge mortgage held by a ruthless opponent—her Great Aunt Nedda.

MG needs extra money, fast. Even if it means carving out time for a job as a prep cook at The Rose—and resisting her attraction to its sexy head chef.

Joe LeBlanc has problems of his own. He’s got a kitchen full of temperamental cooks, a demanding cooking competition to prepare for, and an attraction to MG that could easily boil over into something tasty. If he could figure out the cause of the shy beauty’s lack of self-confidence.

My favorite authors are always surprising me. This time Meg Benjamin made me fall in love with a book in which chickens feature prominently. That was a major surprise. It's no surprise that I loved the book since that's been my reaction to every book in the series. MG and Joe (big sigh after hero's ...more

This was such a nice, feel-good book to read to start off the year. :)

Over my years of reading various romances I've come to the conclusion that it's fairly easy to throw two characters together, add a bit of chemistry and then pronounce them in love. It's more difficult, however, to build a story ...more

I just got through with Fearless Love and I think it was one of my favorites in this series. I hated to put it down. I loved everything about it. Joe and MG were wonderful characters and the chickens were so funny. I really admired MG. Her life was kind of a mess, but she just kept on going. She was ...more

This book kept me entertained from begining to end. I love how there was a little crime thrown in and back stabbing. It is very relatable two people falling inlove that have secrets in there past. I also love that sexy chef MG falls for. And that you find out her real name also. This book has twist ...more

The last two books of Meg Benjamin's Konigsberg series may be the best yet, especially for foodies. "Fearless Love" throws in music, too, another staple in the Hill Country resort town upon which Konigsberg is based. The country restaurant that figures centrally is so obvious to residents of that to ...more

I have enjoyed all the books from the Konisburg Texas series! This one was a bit different as it didn't really include any of the Tollefson's they were mentioned, but really none in it. I was a bit surprised by that, we did however get to meet the Chef from the last book, Which was great. I feel lik ...more

This is my first Meg Benjamin book, and it was a delightful read. The characterization, plot and pacing were well done, and the reader was made to feel right at home in the town of Koenigsburg. The chickens provided the perfect comic relief backdrop to a wonderful story. This book well deserves to b ...more

About the author

Meg Benjamin

Meg Benjamin spent twenty-plus years teaching writing and Web design in South Texas before pulling up roots and starting all over again on the Colorado Front Range. Her comic romances are set in the Texas Hill Country and the Colorado Rockies, which has given her the chance to sample some great wine and some wonderful food (research—it’s all research!). Her new Brewing Love series for Entangled has also given her the chance to get some experience with the wonders of Colorado beer (more research, honestly). Although she now lives in the foothills of the Rockies, Meg travels back to Texas regularly to visit her sons and her twin grandchildren. She and her hubs love to travel the back roads of the Rockies and you can find see pics of their adventures on Facebook and Twitter. For more information about Meg’s books, check out her website.
