Peek Inside Her Royal Protector

Aly Percy knows better than to imagine that Arif al Najimi's blue gaze holds anything but contempt for her as a woman, and Arif isn't sure why he's dreaming about the little scientist who's so determined to take crazy risks for the sake of her research. But when he has the chance to show her what one night with him would be like and answer the question of why Aly believes her own negative publicity about how desirable she is—will he be able to convince her of the truth?

Research scientist Aly Percy has never been known for her looks, but she is passionate about saving wildlife. In fact, she’ll do anything for her current project even if it means spending time alone with the sexy Cup Companion Arif al Najimi on his private yacht. A man who sets her nerves on edge, and makes her feel things she never has before. She doesn’t know why he’s interested in her, and doesn’t trust his motives.

Arif doesn’t understand why the researcher is haunting his dreams. Maybe it’s because she’s beautiful and intelligent, and he loves her passion for her project. He also feels a need to protect her from the dangers of traveling alone to do her work. More than anything, he wants to show her how beautiful she is.

They come from different worlds, and they have a difficult time trusting. The passion is explosive between them, but it may not be enough to bridge their worlds. Can the ugly duckling find true love with the Cup Companion?

Praise

"For anyone that isn't a fan of out and out sex in your books, but do want something that isn't young adult then I would definitely suggest Her Royal Protector, though the characters do talk about sex, and do have sex, it is not as descriptive as many books and so would suit those readers who don't enjoy descriptive sex scenes." ~ A Reader Lives a Thousand Lives

Engaging story, believable characters. The first part was really good although the ending, though not bad at all, did leave me wanting more. Nevertheless, I'd read more from this author and this series.

This was a book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Not only for the romance, but also because of the blending of cultures that was made evident through Arif and his behavior. I really liked Aly, she was not a confident woman in anything that she did except her work. That she is very passionate ab... ...more

Wow! I'm so excited that this is the first book in a series because it was amazing. We just got these nifty new "Hot Pick" buttons, and I'm definitely giving it to this one. Arif al Najimi was absolutely everything a hero should be. He was also exotic, an animal lover and ecologist, and saved Aly... ...more

Every once in a while I need a sweet, easy romance without the dark characters that roam through many of the books I read. I compare this to eating a cracker during a wine tasting session. Her Royal Protector served this purpose for me--cleansing my palate--by being pure romance and not a smexy r... ...more

At first blush this was a typical category romance, heroine who thinks she's ugly (but of course actually isn't), arrogant CEO-type (prince in this case), etc. But once you get into the story, it isn't that at all. There was a lot more to the story, an understanding of why Aly thinks she's the wa... ...more

This is a sweet escapist romance. It was a joy watching Aly bloom. She is smart and fiercely determined to do the right thing. Based on her book list on Amazon, it looks like Sellers books are full of Sheikh-y goodness and Her Royal Protector is no different. Her Royal Protector was an enjoyable read.

The storyline was interesting and had me turning the pages to see how Arfi and Aly would ever find a way to work through their differences and the lack of self belief in Aly.

My only complaint was that I would have loved a glimpse of them in the f... ...more
