A woman of passion. A man of principle. And only one can win…
With her son’s life in the balance, Catherine Fry is forced to locate and steal the priceless Ruby Cross of the Knights Templar. She knows who has it–it’s just a matter of coercing Thomas Glanville, the handsome and incredibly stubborn captain of the ship she’s captured, into telling her the exact location. Fortunately, Catherine knows that there are many ways to get a man to talk…
Captain Thomas Glanville has the cross and he’ll be damned if he’s going to hand it over now that he finally has the means to buy a ship of his own. He’s at the mercy of a fiery woman who will stop at nothing to achieve her goal. But Catherine has no idea who she’s dealing with–and Thomas has his own means of charming a woman into his mercy and his bed…
I received an eARC of the book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Pirates are awesome!! I love pirates, so the fact that the title of this book suggests a female pirate? HOT DARN! I couldn’t resist myself from requesting this book and I am so so glad that it absolutely delivered on a... ...more
Good story. The plot was very engaging and different and I really liked that. Catherine was a really good character, and I loved her strength and dedication to her family. Thomas himself was a good hero. Though his own desires initially were selfish, but he did not hesitate to help Catherine secu... ...more
I've always admired Hughes writing skills and this book was also really good. This book has lot of action, thrill and adventure in addition to a female pirate and a handsome Captain. It is quite good historical fiction. I enjoyed reading it.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tamara Hughes writing and style. She has a way to draw you into the story and capture your attention and not let go until the very last page. I do not get to read as many as I would like novels set back in time, but when I do they must be full of adventure. This one was more than I asked for. To my special delight one of the pirates is a woman whom is full of adventure and daring, very much the Captain of her ship. This author pulls no... ...more

The more I read from Tamara Hughes I find that I am not only impressed by what a good writer she is but what a great storyteller as well. His Pirate Seductress, the third book in her Love on the High Seas series, was a stirring romantic adventure! With a heroine resorting to piracy to save her so... ...more
This is a very sensual book, which I didn't quite expect with a pirate and kidnapping story. I found the chemistry between Catherine and Thomas to light up the pages. Her attempts to torture Thomas were almost amusing because of how bad she was at it.

Great story depicting the depths a woman will go to protect her child. Catherine and Thomas connect in an unusual circumstance but the connection is undeniable. The story is full of action and the writing does it justice. Reading it felt like an adventure.
