You know that catchy song you keep hearing on the radio?
It’s about you.
Natalie Jamison has spent five years trying to forget the girl she was in high school: popular, pretty…and, okay, mean. Now in her twenties and living once again in her small town, she’s right back where she was: following Queen Bee Amber and keeping secrets from her best friend, Sarah.
Secrets like Jack Moreland.
Everyone knows Jack Moreland—his new album, Good Enough, is everywhere. He’s famous. Impossibly handsome. Completely untouchable. But what none of Natalie’s old clique knows is that in high school, Natalie and Jack fell in love. And their secret relationship was incredible, painful—and earth-shattering enough to inspire an entire album.
Facing friends and enemies isn’t easy, but Natalie will go to great lengths to prove she is good enough—to her friends, to herself, and most of all, to the small-town boy turned worldwide heartthrob she never forgot.
"The Mean Girl Apologies was a sweet read and I felt that it hit close to home. It made me think of my high school days and how I was treated and how I treated people too. I think a lot of readers would relate to this book and I think that is one of the reasons why I enjoyed it." --Nomi's Paranormal Palace
"It was sweet, not too cheesy, and a very good book to recommend to people who have a thing for reunited lovers." --Ella Janine, Goodreads
"At first I thought this book was going to be a lovely swoony romance read. But I was wrong. There were still lots of touchy feely romance feels but it was not only that. It was so much more." --Jenna, Goodreads
...more

...more

The Mean Girl Apologies, Stephanie Monahan
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
I wasn't really sure what to expect here, the description was a bit vague, and as the book wasn't out when I had it for review I hadn't been able to read to see what sort of writing style Stephanie has. Anway, glad to sa ...more
I read a lot of new adult books, as in 90% of my reading over the last year or so has probably been new adult, and I have to start by saying that this book was very different from "the norm".
It was a book that was incredibly light on the romance, scored 0 on the heat rating and had a main character ...more
What really caught my attention after reading the synopsis was the story itself. Girl living a double life in high school, broke the heart of her first love then her first love became a popular singer and the songs he made about her are famous? Uhm, yes please!
It was more than the mysteriousness of ...more
The Mean Girl Apologies by Stephanie Monahan was an enjoyable reading escape! I could picture every single scene like if I was watching a movie. It was my first time reading a book by Stephanie Monahan and I really loved her writing style. Even if parts of the story were predictable, I still enjoyed ...more
This book brought me back to high school days. While I wasn't ever one of those girls who was super popular, I can feel for Natalie. I still don't quite get how you can hang out with a bunch of people just to be popular, probably because I would have been the group that hung out with Fiona. Natalie ...more

The book goes back and forth from current day where Natalie is stuck back in her home town copy editing for the local newspaper, still following her high school friends even though she didn't really like most of them, and then back five years to the final year of high school. In high school ...more
I was ecstatic when I got this for review. Truthfully, I haven't heard much about this but the synopsis got me right there. The Mean Girl Apologies was something I have been looking for a long time. Such a good book!
The title, The Mean Girl Apologies, grabbed my attention and as soon as the book made it on my Kindle, I devoured it. I admit this is a rare occurrence. Usually I will have a book for a few days or weeks before I start reading it, but I immediately had to know Natalie and Jack and t ...more
When I requested this book, I was hoping for a simple contemporary read. Although five seconds later I was worried there was going to be too much mean girl stuff going on and that I'd hate it. Eventually I decided to suck it up and read the story; I'm so glad I did! The Mean Girl Apologies was heaps ...more
Its not often I give a 5 star rating but I adored The Mean Girl Apologies by Stephanie Monahan.
